If you order a belt, the metal slide is automatically included with the order.  This is only to purchase the slide and you plan to make your own webbed belt.

With the help of fans and their meticulous close-up, high-quality photos of the Shoretrooper costumes on display at comic cons, we were able to determine how exactly the belts were constructed.  The belts are made out of two 1.5″ wide mil-spec nylon straps “zigzag” threaded together to make a 3″ wide belt.  The back of the belt has a double-overlap design, with a metal belt slide and fastened with Velcro on both overlapping ends.

The metal belt slide is CNC’d out of 1/8″ thick stock aluminum, and its dimensions were created using the fan photos and known measurements (knowing the belt is 3 inches wide)… making it as movie accurate as possible.

Our backside of the belt is made with exterior facing loop Velcro for those wanting to attach the back canister armor piece with adhesive hook Velcro (adhesive hook Velcro not included).

The brown version of the belt comes with a 10″ long strap to wrap around the “Pringles” canister.

*All belt orders automatically include the metal belt slide.

SIZE INSTRUCTIONS

The belt goes over your abdominal armor.  Look for  a “notch” close to the bottom of your abdominal armor which is where the belt lies (refer to posted product pictures for reference).

Select your size in the drop-down menu based off of only your exact abdominal armor waistline measurement.  DO NOT add any length for the Velcro overlapping in the back; I take that into account when making the belt.

COLORS

The belts come in brown for the Shoretrooper “Grunt” and “Captain” versions of the armor

Black is for the Shoretrooper “Squad Leader” version and the Tank Troopers

Recently added white option for Mountain Trooper

White or beige is acceptable for 501st approval.

STOP! IMPORTANT!  When you order your belt, the size you select needs to be your outer waist circumference measurement taken with your duster on.  Do not add anything for the Velcro overlap, I take that into account when it’s made.

This Snowtrooper duster meets and exceeds all 501st requirements.  The duster is made out of polyester fleece material that “pills after wear” (per 501st CRL standard).  It has interior fleece lining the entire lower half of the duster and the added military-style collar. The chest pieces are also fleece lined.

This duster pattern is very complicated to make with all its linings and your custom measurements.  It takes me a couple full days to make and a lot of material which is why it comes with a higher price tag than others might charge.

Your measurements will need to be sent to me after the order is placed for your custom fit.  Please refer to the chart in the photos on the duster product page.

This is for the duster only.  Pictures of the Snowtrooper in full armor are used to show how the duster looks with the rest of the costume.

*Please note that I do not sew on the belt loops or the female nickel plated snaps on the upper chest flap.  Those placements can only be determined when you actually wear the duster.  So, there will be some small sewing on your part when you get the duster (easily done by hand).

**Upon request, I can make it in “snow white” fleece for the Snowtrooper Commander version of the costume.  Otherwise the material will be the standard “ivory” fleece for the Snowtrooper

***If you are a larger Snowtrooper and your measurements are larger than the XXL pattern I have, I will ask for an additional $125 fee for extra labor and material.  I will give full refund if you don’t want to pay the extra fee.  Please contact me with measurements prior to ordering if you think you might need a custom pattern made for your larger measurements.  I’ll be happy to let you know.  Thanks.
